As the Chief Innovation Officer, Ted Davis’s main focus is the creation of strategic product ideas that complement Utility’s industry-leading ecosystem, drive growth through the application of innovative technology, and support significant current and further market expansion. Davis is one of the original co-founders that started Utility in 2000.
Davis has a lengthy career in software and hardware technology development and was previously the Chief Technology Officer for PAD Systems, Utility’s predecessor company. At PAD Systems, Davis led the design and implementation of the PADWorks product line at Consumers Energy and Allegheny Power. Davis spent seven years in the U.S. Air Force as a Captain and T-38 instructor pilot and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida.
