ROBERT McKEEMAN

Robert McKeeman brings more than 30 years of financial, government, and utility software development, project management, and cybersecurity experience to Utility.

McKeeman co-founded Utility in 2000 after serving in Andersen Consulting’s utility and financial services practices, CIO of Equitable Agri-Business (a $2 billion asset agricultural mortgage service provider), and as a partner in Cumberland Consulting Group. He also was a Research Fellow and faculty member in the Information Systems Research Center at the University of North Texas. He has been certified as a Software Quality Engineer with the American Society for Quality, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) with ISC2, and a PMP with the Project Management Institute.

IT, Cybersecurity and Project Management consulting clients include Alabama Power, Atlanta Gas Light, Bank of America, Consumers Energy, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta. For two years he served as an Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) loaned executive for Project Management, Enterprise Architecture, and Cybersecurity for the Office of the CIO at the US Department of Veterans Affairs headquarters in Washington DC while he was on the faculty of the University of North Texas. McKeeman holds a BS – Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
