AVaiL RFID™ delivers near real-time information on the location and status of virtually any mobile resource from toolboxes and backhoes to personnel and vehicles. The RFID system is an inherent capability of the Rocket™, able to identify any object with an RFID tag. Designated tags can be recognized by any Rocket™, in the enterprise’s system, up to 200 meters.
Every tag provides a unique identifier of the resource. This identifier is linked to an asset description is defined by the enterprise. For example, the description may include model and serial number or name, phone number and skill set.
With AVaiL RFID™ the mobile enterprise will know:
• Who is riding in the vehicle, and when and where they departed from and returned to the vehicle.
• What tools are being carried by the vehicle, and when and where they were removed from and returned to the vehicle.
• What is being towed by the vehicle, and when and where it was dropped off or picked up.
• Where and when the vehicle with a long-range reader drove by an RFID-tagged asset.
