The AVaiL™mobile command and control service delivers a secure, high performance, clutter-free view of mobile operations activities, almost as they occur. AVaiL™ natively accepts and displays data from existing core legacy business systems as well as most mobile GPS modem devices. This open unified command and control environment provides a single comprehensive view of all mobile operations. AVaiL™ delivers:
Command and Control. AVaiL™ provides a unified global view of existing core business information, such as GIS, with the location and status of mobile assets from toolboxes to backhoes, personnel to vehicles. AVaiL™ natively accepts .xml data from a broad range of disparate systems often found within the mobile enterprise.
RFID Asset Tracking. AVaiL™ can provide the enterprise with a wide area RFID network that automatically tracks the location and disposition of mobile assets across the enterprise. The RFID reports who and what are in each vehicle, and when and where did it leave and return to the vehicle.
On-Board Diagnostics. AVaiL™ provides the ability to connect to the vehicle On-Board Diagnostics port into the engine, PTO, and other vehicle systems. Trouble codes and diagnostics status of the vehicle may be monitored and reported to avoid costly repairs and optimize preventive maintenance.
GIS and Core Business Information Layers. Multiple ESRI Shape files can be displayed as overlay layers on the detailed road map in the native format – no importing or conversion is required. Customer data such as customers and assets can also be displayed as layers. In addition, real-time data such as gas leaks, lightning strikes, road closures, and other third party data can be displayed in layers as they occur automatically -- without the user having to perform any screen refresh.
Multicast Repeater. The AVaiL™ Multicast Repeater provides highly available, reliable, and scalable distribution of AVaiL™ data across all network segments in the Enterprise. All workstations running AVaiL™ on each network segment get Multicast position updates. If the Multicast repeater fails for any reason, one of the AVaiL™ workstations will automatically promote itself to take over the Multicast function until the repeater is brought back on-line.
Security. AVaiL™ is architected for the most demanding security environments. All transmitted information is encrypted and tokenized. Additionally, proprietary enterprise information does not need to reside at the AVaiL™ network operations center, and an open port in the enterprise’s network firewall is not required.
Mutual-Aid & Interoperability. The mobile operations manager can securely see and communicate with other enterprise mobile crews during a storm, natural disaster or other mutual aid work environments. AVaiL™ works with a broad range of communication/geo-locating devices.
Clutter Control. AVaiL™ provides advanced automatic clutter control maximizes the amount of actionable information shown within the AVaiL™ command and control view. This provides maximum mobile operations awareness.
