AVaiL PadWorks™ PadWORKS™ is a comprehensive work management system for the utility industry. This application tracks all aspects of field work, whether it is complicated, long-cycle work or simple meter reading. Field crews and associated vehicles are managed ensuring that the right skill-sets are being appropriately dispatched. Field crews can easily inventory the needed materials for a day’s work before leaving the service center, eliminating return trips to restock, saving time and increasing work quality and safety. On-board navigation delivers detailed street level mapping with mission-critical infrastructure GIS data layers. Field crews may obtain optimum routing from where they are, to the location of the field asset they are going to work on. The time spent on each task by crew members and vehicles alike, is also recorded through a simple Gantt chart interface. No time can overlap, and switching from one time record to another, spanning time and resources, is simple and straightforward. Capturing additional information relative to time records is easy. The user simply selects a time record and edits data in a grid. PadWORKS™ ensures that the grid displays data only relevant to the particular type of time record selected, making data capture all the easier for the field workers. |
